Adult Ballet Class
Our adult ballet class is designed at an “improvers ballet” level of ballet, which means it’s aimed at beginners or people who have some experience with ballet.
The class goes through foundations of ballet technique primarily on ballet barre work, focussing on building strength, alignment and control.

This course is for you
This is suitable for those who have never danced before or those who may have some dance experience however long ago that might be.
It will be a fun, safe place to learn about the foundations of ballet technique.
Class time and location
The class runs every Friday during term time.
Location: Milnsbridge Village Hall
Time: 6.45-7.30pm.

Dancewear and clothing for ballet
Please wear something comfortable that you can move in. Leotards are not required.
Ballet shoes will need to be worn for class. They can be purchased from Pennine Academy of Dance or through other suppliers.
About the teacher
This course will be taught by Helen Snowden, Pennine Academy Principal.
Helen has studied ballet from a young age and also trained in ballet at the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) in London. She continues to hold registered teacher status with the RAD.
